Sooooo, you’ve been wondering around my website. Good! You know I help businesses attract their ideal customers through persuasive words.
Over here, I write about and speak to business owners on the highs and the lows of their journey so far.
The mistakes which became their best teachers and the triumphs that kept them focussed on the next victory.
Why?
Because I want to give them the visibility they deserve.
Are you…
Searching for business advice from people who you can relate to?
Entrepreneurs who didn’t know the ‘right people’ or have everything they needed to get started but started anyway?
Or maybe you’re…
Looking for creative culturally diverse products and services that don’t get spotlighted in the mainstream and you just want to support, cause that’s the type of person you are!
You want to push for change regardless of your background and disrupt the economic status quo.
Imagine if you, not only disrupted the economic status quo with your purchasing power but transformed the business landscape by consciously supporting entrepreneurs from underrepresented groups. Whether they be black-owned businesses, women-led businesses or fall into another category (we do love our categories in the business world)!
You’ve probably heard the phrase “the bigger the better.” But don’t underestimate the importance of the little guy or gal!
Nah. Don’t do that.
In the UK during 2021:
More than 99.9% of all UK businesses were small to medium-sized, (0-249 employees) and generated more than half (52%) of turnover produced by the private sector’s £2.3 trillion. Small businesses (0-49 employees) made up 99.2% of total businesses, generating £1.6 trillion (36%) of turnover*.
“If you think you are too small to make a difference, you haven’t spent a night with a mosquito.” – African Proverb
Growing a business is hard, but it seems even harder for underrepresented communities. I guess that’s why they’re called ‘underrepresented’!
I speak directly to entrepreneurs and put all their juicy info here in one place, so you can feel empowered and reliably informed to buy from them and/or stop procrastinating and create your own financial freedom.
So unless you want to spend the precious time you don’t have making similar mistakes, check these stories out!
After reading or listening to these entrepreneurs, your next step is to act! Whether that be to buy from them and/or to execute the next step in your own business journey.
Of course, freedom isn’t all about stacking up those coins. As the saying goes “health is wealth”, so you’ll find health stories on here too!
There are lots of gems in this treasure trove. Just. For. You.
P.S. If you never want to miss out on small business advice and inspiration, I’ll email you when I publish a new interview.
